Which samples are needed?
The test requires a combined nose/throat swab to detect Covid-19. This will be collected at your appointment by a trained clinician. Your sample will then be sent to our laboratory for fast and accurate analysis.
When can I have this Coronavirus test?
This test is suitable 5 days after potential exposure to Covid-19. It is also suitable if you have symptoms such as a fever or continuous cough, or if you are simply looking to test for your peace of mind.
How accurate is this Coronavirus test?
This test is 95% accurate when the correct sampling technique is followed. Your trained clinician will collect your sample using this method.
How will I get my results?
Your Covid test results will be ready one working day after your sample’s arrival at our laboratory. We will send you an email to notify you when your Coronavirus test results are ready to view online in your secure Patient Area. If you would like to be contacted by phone or SMS instead, please let our team know.
What if I test positive for Covid-19?
A positive result indicates that you are currently infected with Covid-19. You must self-isolate to prevent spreading the virus to others. Please follow Government guidelines.
