What does the screen test for?
The screen tests for:
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
What samples are needed?
You will need to give a blood sample for this screen. There are no fasting requirements before this, or any Better2Know test.
You can add on other tests to this screen if you would like to. Just ask the booking team or choose the tests you want online.
How will I get my results?
Your results will be uploaded into your online Patient Area as soon as they become available. You can access this secure area at any time using your unique identification number. We can also contact you by phone, email or SMS when your results are ready. Please let our team know your preferred method when you make your booking.
What happens if I test positive?
Hepatitis infections can vary in both the body's reaction to the infection and the treatment that may be offered to you. Your Better2Know Doctor will refer you to a specialist who will be able to help you further.
