Which STIs does the screen test for?
The Peace of Mind Screen tests for:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Syphilis
You can add on other STIs to this screen if you would like. We have a lower price for tests which are added on to screens. You can choose your tests online or ask the booking team.
Which samples do you need?
Blood and urine samples are needed for this screen. There are no swabs needed. There are no special fasting requirements for this test. Please make sure you are able to produce a urine sample at your appointment.
How do I get my results?
Your results will be uploaded into your online Patient Area as soon as they become available. You can access this secure area at any time using your unique identification number. We can also contact you by phone, email or SMS when your results are ready. Please let our team know your preferred method when you make your booking.
What if I test positive?
All the STIs in the Peace of Mind Screen are curable with the right treatment. Your Better2Know Doctor will discuss what you would like to do next when you get your results. We can help you to get a private prescription for the medication you need, or you can take your results to your own doctor if you prefer.
